On CV’s irrelevance

When someone’s asking you to fill in your data in their particular format they are telling you a clear thing.
What they really say is: “Here’s what I’m looking for! This is how I want to see you! This is the box I wanna put you in! Anything else about you will not be relevant to me”.

Now, you’ve been served! Been sent this message! The ball is yours to play! 
The way you choose to go on from such point defines your way of being on that path,  in that relationship.

People’s most common call in front of opportunity is denying it, not because they are not used seeing it, but because they are accustomed not taking it. And such behavior is the result of a life based on modeling others. And we are not here for that! We are here to contribute and the only way we can deliver that is by becoming aware of what we might serve differently at a table which is always full of specialties. 

Genuine does not mean mimicking. It calls for unique, different, single version of a craft, a person, a way of being.

Everyone should stop using a CV! It has become irrelevant long ago and feeding the current inertia won’t serve anyone, let alone those looking for a job.
The only reason CV-s still exist is because people keep updating the old ones. 
People should use business cards instead, have their life story ready telling and a website to back that up.
